1891-S $1 PCGS MS66. While 1891 San Francisco Morgan dollars are readily available in lower uncirculated grades, their populations plummet beyond MS64. Typical examples are usually well made, but are plagued with heavy bag marks. This choice gem is an apparent exception. Excellently struck with fantastic luster, attractively framed by light peripheral toning. Frosted design elements display only minor contact marks. A standout example which belongs in a world class Morgan dollar set.
