This special American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin includes a special United States Navy emblem privy mark honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States Navy, which will celebrate its birthday on October 13, 2025. These limited-edition silver coins are struck at the United States Mint at San Francisco and have the “S” mint mark.

The classic “Walking Liberty” design by Adolph A. Weinman featured on the coin’s obverse (heads) has long been a collector favorite. It depicts Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. The United States Mint returned to its historical assets to render a closer reflection of Weinman’s original version and detail that includes the addition of his traditional artist mark. Inscriptions are “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2025.” The coin also includes a special privy mark honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States Navy.
