1892-S $5 PCGS MS63+, green CAC sticker. San Francisco coined less than 300,000 half eagles in 1892, most of which circulated extensively. PCGS has certified a mere seven examples in this grade, with just fourteen finer in all grades. Well struck with frosty luster and nicely preserved surfaces, it is apparent why CAC elected to approve this example.
