2017 $20 Canada's Coasts: Pacific Coast - Pure Silver Coin

This 2017 $20 fine silver coin is the first in the new “Canada’s Coasts” series and features a stunning sunset on Canada’s beautiful Pacific coast together with a unique maple leaf portrayal. Adding to its collectability, the mintage is limited to just 7,500.

The Design:

The reverse image by Curtis Atwater features an orca swimming along the mountainous Pacific coastline. The whale’s dorsal fin and the tallest mountain peak point the eye upward to a warm orange and yellow maple leaf sunset, which is also reflected in the waters below. Detailed engraving and selective colouring make the sunset glow and the Pacific waters shimmer.
